Apologies, Chess and Hawk Nelson

I have a very reasonable explanation of why I haven't posted in two weeks, Week one- my camera was pretty much out of commission... Then week two- I lacked internet access.... So sorry I didn't post but I'm here now!!! During this terrible time I did discover one pretty awesome thing. Its an app called Chess with Friends. Im not exactly an expert but chess is actually pretty relaxing.... ANYWAYS (back on subject), I did manage to fit in some photography the second week and here it is!!!

Yes, I photographed grass.... AND I ROCKED IT! Okay maybe not... But get over it, Ive had creativity block. So there.

I decided I wanted to play with depth of field.... A better subject would have been better but I still liked the results pretty well...

So do you remember how in down-poured for three days straight? Well with a little ingenuity, a mirror and sneaking into Hunter's room for a marble.... I came up with this. I didn't get a chance to edit it but thought I would post it anyways....
Red Berries.........

Dear Maya, You wanted to see Tobie? Well here he is! Sleepy, Annoying and Bratty but if you like that kind of thing I guess he's pretty cute....

Well That's about it.....  By the way... Hawk Nelson's new album came out today!!!!! Its great if you like their kind of music.... WHICH I DO! The album is called Crazy Love and I love the lyrics to the Title song.... Here it is if you want to hear it... Until next time, Adieu!

Day Six.... Awaiting the storm

My little watch out bird waiting for the storm to hit. We have a sort of Love-Hate relationship. I throw him bread, He doesn't attack me.

120 Day Photography Challenge

Those of you who know me know that I am anything BUT a writer... And on the other hand those same people know that I AM a photographer. Which is why I started this Blog. It wont be a normal teen blog where I will vent my hatred for school, parents and life.... But to post my photography. Starting with a challenge issued by friend. Starting tomorrow for the next 120 days I will take one photo every day and post it to this blog. Some days will be really lame, Some days will be strictly spectacular. Some will be edited, most will straight from the camera. But I WILL post every day... And before I make a promise I cannot keep let me add that if I don't have internet one day, I will post double the photos the next day. Really? I'm typing this mainly for myself. Its like if everything Im thinking is typed up, there will be not turning back. So here is to a new year. One filled with Laughter, Joy, Photos and above all else... God

Introducing..... Me

Hey There! I'm Haylie! I'm not sure how you found this blog but welcome!
I'm not much of a writer (truth be told I probably stink at it) But I AM a photographer. And a pretty darn good one if I do say so myself. I'm 16 (almost 17) and am very passionate about it. At the moment I plan on getting my degree at the Art Institute of Atlanta and then opening a studio, but I'm still not sure about the latter part.
I have two parents, (both of them licensed ministers)
Three siblings, (Hannah- 12, Hallie 11 and Hunter- 9)
Two Dogs ( Tobie and Chevy)
Two Horses ( Snickers and Cocoa whom I don't see enough of)
And you ready for this one? Four  Five Cats...
So if you cant tell my life can be a bit hectic sometimes and I really don't know what I would do with God.
My Dad is a the senior pastor at Loganville Church of God and my mom heads up the youth ministry.... So yes I am a PK (pastor Kid) and YES I love it! I'm also home schooled which gives me plenty of quality time with my camera!
There is much more I could put here but I wont...... Until next time...
